The kitchen is slammed and the phone keeps ringing. Echo picks up.
Echo is an AI phone assistant for restaurants, bistros and cafés: it answers the call, books tables into your calendar, answers questions about opening hours and the menu, and passes special requests on to you. On your number, in your name, 24/7.

Sound familiar?
Friday, 7 PM
The patio is full, you're behind the counter, and the phone goes unanswered for the third time. The person who wanted a table has already booked somewhere else.
The same three questions, every time
How late are you open? Do you have gluten-free options? Are dogs welcome? Fair questions, but you shouldn't be the one taking every one of them from the kitchen.
The after-hours calls
Guests make plans when they have a free moment: 10 PM, Sunday morning. Until now, that meant voicemail, if they left a message at all.
What does it handle for you?
- Answers the phone at peak times, after closing and on holidays
- Takes table reservations and books them into your calendar
- Answers questions about opening hours, the menu and anything in your knowledge base
- Sends the guest a text confirmation of the reservation
- For event and group inquiries, records the name and number so you can call back
- You get a summary of every call, so nothing slips through
You'll find the whole process, step by step, on the How it works page.
What it costs a restaurant
For most restaurants, the Voice Starter plan is the right place to begin: it handles 300 minutes of calls a month, approx. 120 calls. If you outgrow it, you can move to a bigger plan anytime. The first 7 days are a live trial, free.

Can Echo actually book a table, or does it just take a message?
It actually books: it connects to your calendar, offers an open time slot, records the reservation and sends the guest a text confirmation. Echo can be connected to any calendar.
What happens when a guest asks something Echo doesn't know?
It doesn't guess. It records the question, asks for the guest's name and number, and you call back. If we set it up that way, it can also transfer the call live to you or a colleague.
How does Echo know the menu and the opening hours?
During onboarding we build its knowledge base together: opening hours, menu, allergen information, house rules, parking. Whatever goes in there, it answers accurately. Anything else, it doesn't improvise.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. Calls reach Echo from your existing number through simple call forwarding. You decide whether it answers every call or only the ones you don't pick up.
What does it cost, and what if it doesn't work out?
Voice Starter is $289/mo (taxes not included), with 300 minutes of calls a month. The first 7 days are a free live trial on your own number, with your own guests. If it doesn't convince you, you pay nothing.
What voice will my guests hear?
You can choose from more than 50 voices to match the style of your place. At the start of every call, Echo says that an AI assistant is speaking: we keep that on everywhere, because it's the fair thing to do with your guests.
