Echo AI Assistant · Sydney

AI phone assistant for Sydney businesses

Sydney doesn't wait on hold. If your phone rings out while you're crawling along Parramatta Road or halfway through a cut and color, the caller taps the next result. Echo picks up the calls you can't, books the appointment, answers the everyday questions and saves the lead. Your existing Sydney number stays. Everything is set up remotely, nobody comes out to your site.

Why Sydney businesses use Echo

The city is wide, and your day is spent driving it

A quote in Penrith, a job in the Sutherland Shire, a client in Chatswood: on Sydney's roads that is most of a working day behind the wheel. The M5 and the Harbour Bridge don't care that your phone is ringing. Echo takes the call, records the address and the problem, and you read the summary at the next stop.

Trading starts early and doesn't stop at five

Café doors open before sunrise, tradies are on site by seven, and the Northern Beaches homeowner calls about a leaking tap on Sunday afternoon. Echo answers around the clock, so the evening or weekend call turns into a booked slot instead of a voicemail nobody returns.

Sydney speaks more than English

From Cabramatta to Hurstville to Auburn, plenty of your callers speak another language at home. Echo has dozens of languages to choose from: you set a primary language for your business, and we agree during onboarding how it handles a caller who switches. One assistant, the whole city.

How it gets started in Sydney

  1. Step 1

    You forward your Sydney number

One short code on your phone, approx. 30 seconds. The exact code depends on your carrier, Telstra, Optus, Vodafone or a reseller, and we set it up together during onboarding. Your 02 landline or 04 mobile stays exactly as it is, and your customers keep dialing the number they already know.

  2. Step 2

We build it in a week

You send us your services, prices, opening hours and the questions you get asked ten times a day. We build the knowledge base, connect your calendar and set up the email summaries. All of it happens over a video call and email: no site visit, no local technician, no equipment.

  3. Step 3

You run it live for 7 days, free

Real Sydney callers, your own customers, seven days. You listen to the recordings and read the summaries. If it isn't worth it, we switch it off and you pay $0.

Same price in Sydney as anywhere else

There is no Sydney surcharge and no site-visit fee, because nothing about Echo happens on site. The entry plan is $289/mo (taxes not included) and covers 300 minutes of calls a month, approx. 120 calls. The figure is the same in Bondi, Blacktown or Bankstown.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need to come out to me in Sydney?

No. Nothing about Echo requires a visit: the consultation is a video call, the setup runs over the internet, and the call forwarding is done on your own phone. Whether you are in the CBD or out past Campbelltown makes no difference to how it works or what it costs.

Do I keep my Sydney number?

Yes. Your 02 landline or 04 mobile stays unchanged. Call forwarding sends the calls you don't pick up on to Echo, and your Google listing, your website and your van signage keep the same number. If you ever stop, you cancel the forwarding and the number behaves as before.

Many of my customers speak a language other than English. Can Echo handle that?

Yes, and in Sydney it matters. Echo has dozens of languages to choose from. You pick the primary language for your business and, during onboarding, we decide how it treats a caller who speaks something else: answer in that language, or take the message and flag it for you. It says at the start of every call that an AI assistant is speaking, in whichever language the call runs.

I have several locations across Sydney. Can one Echo cover them?

Yes. The knowledge base holds several addresses, opening hours and service lists, so a caller asking about your Parramatta shop gets Parramatta's hours, not Bondi Junction's. Bookings land in the right calendar. Setups with many locations are best walked through on the 15-minute call.

Is Echo more expensive in Sydney?

No. The price is the same everywhere: the entry plan is $289/mo (taxes not included). There is no local surcharge, no site-visit cost and no different rate for Sydney compared to a smaller city.

Sydney's day starts early. Is Echo really answering at 6 am?

Yes. Echo isn't a call center with a roster, it's software that answers every call: at 6 am before your first job, at 9 pm after the salon has closed, and right through a long weekend. The opening hours in your knowledge base decide what it offers a caller; the clock decides nothing. Every call opens with a short line that an AI assistant is speaking.
